Tameiko Prentice, owner of APG Design Build and founder of Meiko Realty, has led successful residential rehabilitation projects and fostered strong community partnerships since 2008. Established in response to market challenges, APG initially offered property preservation and expanded into rehabilitation and development. Tameiko’s early work with Lennar honed her skills in real estate and community development, where she collaborated with local agencies like the Division of Community Development (CDA) on affordable housing initiatives, including the Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) program.

As a licensed Real Estate Broker since 2016, Tameiko Prentice owns and operates Meiko Realty, while her husband, Vincent Prentice, owns Prentice Portfolio, a real estate holding company. The two companies collaborate closely to acquire, rehabilitate, and sell properties. APG Design Build serves as the official general contractor on these projects since Tameiko obtained the Maryland Home Improvement Contractor (MHIC) license. Together, they have completed significant rehabilitation projects, including renovations in Prince George’s County and Baltimore City providing opportunity for new affordable homeownership and rental housing in partnership with the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC).
